I love watching America’s Got Talent, not only do you see some amazing talent but you see the hearts of the people and some of the struggles they have and to endure. The skills that some of the acts demonstrated required teamwork, practice, building relationships and the list goes on. And then along came Nightbirde. Her testimony stills resonates today after her passing.
LIFE IS CHALLENGING... "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy." I have 2% chance of survival; Two percent is not zero percent, two percent is something and I wish people knew how amazing it is." Nightbirdie I am not saying go audition on America's Got Talent and try to make a impact, what I am saying is get out there and make a difference, follow your dreams, It will be hard, there will be obstacles, life happens. Sometimes you have to put your dreams on hold, and that is OK! If you are a student still in high school and need some guidance on how to attain your post-secondary goals or do something radical and different reach out to your career counsellor and have a conversation, there are so many opportunities to pursue. Nightbirdie impacted a lot of people the night she did her audition. Nightbirde chased her dreams and proved that she was so much more than her cancer! "it's okay, it's okay, it's okay If you're lost, we're all a little lost and it's alright." Nightbirdie
