This is a free “one stop” resource, that brings to “one site” a zillion sites for exploration, and broadening knowledge of the a vast array of careers available to our young people. The purpose of this "one stop site" is to help answer questions regarding careers, and to provide high school students, parents and job seekers with the tools needed to facilitate exploration, planning and hopefully a sense of direction as you pursue goals for your lives.
This website focuses specifically on post-secondary information and other career related links that I believe will be an excellent tool for Grade 9-12 High School Career Counsellors, teachers, parents and students.
Upcoming Virtual Events
2020-2021 Canadian Universities Virtual Fair
While we face national and provincial government restrictions, for the safety of all students, parents, university representatives, and schools amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the search for the "right fit" is still of the utmost importance.
Information and links have been provided to virtual presentations for students and parents to carefully consider post-secondary institutions to which they are interested in applying. Post-secondary institutions, nationwide, once again, are making great efforts to reach students across the country to provide complete information and Q&A opportunities, so that students can be aware of the great range of higher education learning that is available in provinces across Canada!
Below there are links to their websites for your convenience. Sign up early if you want to see what is happening at these post-secondary institutions.

January 20, 2021 - The Manitoba Career Fair is a virtual event, hosted by Manitoba Career Prospects and organized by the Manitoba Tourism Education Council. This event helps fill the void of cancelled and postponed career fairs in 2020/21 as a result of social distancing efforts.
The purpose is to help students, parents and educators discover and learn more about the thousands of career opportunities in Manitoba in a multitude of industries. Information about industry trends, major employers and education options will also be available.
NOTE: This is NOT not a job fair where employers will promote job openings to job seekers.
Learning opportunities include 50 exhibitors in a virtual tradeshow environment with live chat, fun and informative live streaming events, games and contests.
Ask the High School Career Counsellor - if you are a current Grade 9-12 high school student, a recent graduate or a parent with questions regarding courses to take to get into programs at post secondary schools, click on this link.
