This is a free “one stop” resource, that brings to “one site” a zillion sites for exploration, and broadening knowledge of the a vast array of careers available to our young people. The purpose of this "one stop site" is to help answer questions regarding careers, and to provide high school students, parents and job seekers with the tools needed to facilitate exploration, planning and hopefully a sense of direction as you pursue goals for your lives.
This website focuses specifically on post-secondary information and other career related links that I believe will be an excellent tool for Grade 9-12 High School Career Counsellors, teachers, parents and students.

The Manitoba Career Fair is a virtual event, hosted by Manitoba Career Prospects and organized by the Manitoba Tourism Education Council.
The purpose is to help students, parents and educators discover and learn more about the thousands of career opportunities in Manitoba in a multitude of industries. Information about industry trends, major employers and education options will also be available. NOTE: This is NOT intended to be a job fair where employers will promote job openings to job seekers, however, you there are booths of some of Manitoba’s major employers for you to explore and chat with.
Learning opportunities include over 40 exhibitors in a virtual tradeshow environment with live chat, fun and informative live streaming events, games and contests.

Welcome to World of Choices! These three virtual events will connect students in your classroom with mentors from a variety of career sectors. Through these inspiring speakers, students will be exposed to more options and opportunities than ever before.
Through a series of three virtual events, sponsored by RBC and CNA, students will be exposed to more options and opportunities than ever before, while meeting inspiring speakers and learning about their careers. You can register your class to attend one session, or all three, as different mentors will be presenting at each session. There will be room for questions and discussion, and at the end of these events we hope that your students have learned about new career options and feel excited about their future. |
